redefining menstruation

The Pad-Free Kerala campaign by FemiSafe was officially launched in a landmark event graced by the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, and Kerala’s Chief Secretary, Ms. Sarada Muraleedharan. This progressive initiative aims to revolutionize menstrual hygiene in the state by promoting the use of sustainable and reusable menstrual products such as menstrual cups and period panties. By reducing dependency on disposable sanitary pads, the campaign envisions a greener, healthier, and more empowered Kerala.

Untabooing Periods

FemiSafe is more than just a brand that is committed to creating a positive impact in communities. At FemiSafe, we believe that menstruation should never be a source of shame or silence. Our mission is to "untaboo" periods by sparking open conversations around menstrual health, hygiene, and dignity — especially in communities where such topics are still considered off-limits.

Feel the Pain

How do you explain period pain to someone who’s never felt it? That question led us to create an experience, not just a conversation. At FemiSafe, we use period pain simulators in our awareness events to help men, educators, and communities physically feel what menstrual cramps are like. The goal is simple : to foster empathy.

Cup Of Life

Menstrual cups can change lives — they’re eco-friendly, cost-effective, and body-safe. Yet, for many, the idea of switching from pads o still feels daunting. That’s why FemiSafe launched the Cup of Life initiative. We actively distribute menstrual cups across colleges, universities, and public spaces, pairing each cup with educational sessions and user guides to ensure confident, safe adoption.

Pad-Free Kerala Campaign Launches at Cochin College

Pad-Free Kerala Campaign launched at Cochin College, inaugurated by Shri Hibi Eden and supported by our generous sponsor, iPlus Training Solutions. Here’s a quick snapshot of the event: We distributed 750+ menstrual cups to students as part of our mission to promote sustainable period care. The cramp simulation activity gave participants a firsthand glimpse into the physical discomfort of menstruation—an eye-opener for many. What truly stood out was the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students, who were eager to learn, engage, and break the silence around menstrual health.

menstrual cup distribution in Nedumbassery & Angamaly

As part of a powerful CSR initiative by Mane Kancor Company, FemiSafe conducted a menstrual awareness and cup distribution drive at Nedumbassery and in collaboration with the Angamaly Panchayat. The initiative aimed to educate women about sustainable menstrual hygiene practices while breaking stigmas surrounding periods. Through interactive sessions and open dialogue, we empowered hundreds of women with the knowledge and tools to make healthier choices. The highlight of the drive was the distribution of menstrual cups, promoting eco-conscious period care and accessibility. A big thank you to CANCA and the local bodies for supporting the cause.
